about

Consider it my personal homage to Neil Peart. This song was created back in 2015 for a Rush cover contest on Indaba (RIP). Obviously, I never won any contest due to my unorthodox and odd approach to the music, but still, I had a lot of fun doing those contests. "The Spirit of Radio" was the opening track of the 1980's Rush album "Permanent Waves". However, I could not hold back myself, and I introduced a short break featuring one of my favourite Rush songs "Anthem." Enjoy!

Neil Peart, best known as the drummer and primary lyricist of the rock band Rush, died from glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, on January 7, 2020, in Santa Monica, California. R.I.P.!

I played piano, bass, and some drums and learned to work with computers, samplers, and midi controllers.
I use Propellerhead's Reason, an Alesis keyboard, an Oxygen 8 midi-controller and the Reaper.
